Join the TSC at the Cary Theater to Watch Top Spin!
The Triangle Sports Commission is hosting a special screening of Top Spin on June 1 at 7 pm at the Cary Theater.
This documentary was filmed largely in the Triangle and features three young table tennis athletes vying to make the U.S. Olympic Team for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. The road to the Games required substantial time in Cary at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials – Table Tennis and the 2012 North America Olympic Trials – Table Tennis, both of which were held at Bond Park Community Center.
After the movie, Diana Gee, local table tennis Olympian, will be holding a Q&A about the sport, the movie, and her journey to the Olympics.
