MISSION:
To host and create sports events, to attract sports governing bodies and related sports organizations, and to develop and enhance sports facilities and infrastructure in order to positively impact the Triangle and grow the region’s sports economy.
OBJECTIVES:
Promote the Triangle region as an attractive destination for sporting events
Provide a central resource and driving force for athletic facility development and revitalization through both public and private resources
Attract, support and retain sports organizations, associations, and businesses in the Triangle
Drive economic development throughout the Triangle by attracting regional, national, and international sporting events to the region
Leverage sports to create and maintain ongoing working relationships among Triangle communities
